The photos in the “Works” section (w01–w21) come from the gallery on Ilkin Zafarli's page on the Nine Senses website; all 21 were shot with one camera (the 3L8A… file series). A stock check on 18.09.2026: some of these frames are sold on iStock under the author name “Zeferli” (he also has the portfolio “zef art” on Shutterstock). So these are the studio head's own stock photos, not someone else's stock; we caption them “photo by Ilkin Zafarli.” The “Gobustan-3029” frame comes from the exhibition page.
What freezelight is
“The art of drawing with light in space” — this is how freezelight was defined in the studio's opening program in 2023. The camera shoots with a long exposure while the author moves a flashlight or phone in the dark: the trail of light stays in the frame.
On the opening day Ilkin Zafarli gave a master class on phone freezelight.
Students' works
There are no students' cartoons in open sources — neither on the center's website nor in the resort's news. The photos below show the classes themselves: frame-by-frame shooting on a phone.

The studio has no phone of its own: sign-up, the schedule and class prices are confirmed with the Nine Senses administrators.
